Thank you to the wonderful committee of Sydney Eventing for looking after me so well again this weekend. The cross country ran smoothly and well thanks to the TD’s, controller, marshal and all of the volunteers. Mr Rose and his scrumptious roast pork dinner on Saturday night -I was very spoilt!! Without volunteers it would be impossible for the event to go ahead, people don’t see how much work Lisa Green puts in behind the scenes and as a rider I want to thank you for making it possible for us to compete. Loved the Pre-Novice course out at SIEC, and was really pleased to see some new fences in the mix. The course was incredibly well kept and my horse had a sensational time galloping around the track. Loved it! Had two first timers in the intro. The cross country course was a great start for the year, I loved that there were two water jumps and the first was only a compulsory flag. The warm up for show jumping was much more organised than last year but still needs some improving. The lady at warm up was much more organised and in control but riders were still heading down for their round too early – Stevie-Jade Bianca Shakoff
